- How do I create User Account?
In order to create a User Account, please visit photo.am and click on the "Register" link in the top right. You will be emailed an email confirmation. You would need to click the link in this email to confirm your registration. After successful confirmation, you’ll become a member of Photo.am community. After you become a registered member, you will be able to sign in at any time by choosing the "Login" link in the top right.
- How can I contribute content?
As a registered member, you may create photo albums and upload photos in the photo.am Gallery, contribute comments, rate other community photos, add photos to favorites, choose to follow other members, send private messages to other members, etc. Please refer to our Terms of Use for relevant policies.
- How do I edit my profile details?
To edit your photo.am account, please log in to photo.am. If you are not automatically redirected to your profile, click on the "My Profile" link in the upper right. There is a link "Edit profile" in the right sidebar, just below your User photo. You can change your account settings (your name and email address), change your password, change your user profile data (biography, personal website link, location, specialty), and change your avatar (user picture).
- How do I upload a photo?
Please access your profile following the directions in the article above and, in the "Photos" tab, click on the "Add Album" link. Once the album is created, you’ll be taken to the newly created album page. Click on the "Add Photos" link to add photos.
You can upload photos one by one ("From Web Browser"), or import multiple photos – e.g. from your website or from another Internet location ("From Web Page").
In order to add photos to an existing album, just click on "View all" link to open the album, then click on the "Add Photos" link.
- How do I remove a photo?
Please click on the photo thumbnail to open it, then click on the "edit" link on the right of photo title, then click "Delete Photo" link on the right panel.
- How can I edit information for a photo?
Click on the photo thumbnail to open it, then click on the "edit" link on the right of photo title.
- Can I remove comments to my photos?
While all photos could be rated or commented by other community members, you could choose to delete any or all comments for your photos, and, if necessary, report any abuse, misconduct or violation.
- How do I report abuse, misconduct, copyright or other violations?
- How can I receive/stop receiving comment notifications?
To receive or stop receiving email notifications when your photos are commented, click on the "My Profile" link in the upper right of the page. There is "Edit profile" link in the right sidebar. Select the "User Profile" link, and check or uncheck the "Receive Notifications" box.
